- Experience as a google cloud data architect
- Deep knowledge in components & services on Google Cloud
- Experience with database management systems, for example traditional RDBMS, NoSQL, GraphDBs or Cloud-Native Databases.
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platforms in data engineering role
- Be "hands on" with technology and to contribute to the design, development and support development teams with recommendations and adoption of tools.
- Active Google Cloud Data Engineer Certification or Active Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification would be plus.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of designing, building and operationalizing large-scale enterprise data solutions and applications using one or more of Google Cloud Platform data and analytics services in combination with 3rd parties - Spark, Hive, Cloud DataProc, Cloud Dataflow, Apache Beam/ composer, Big Table, Cloud BigQuery, Cloud PubSub, Cloud storage Cloud Functions & Github.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience with a minimum of an end to end solution designed and implemented at production scale
- Minimum of 1 year of designing and building production data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture, using Cloud Native Google Cloud Platform, Java, Python, Scala, SQL etc.
- Experience with Data lake, data warehouse ETL build and design
- Data migration experience from legacy systems including Hadoop, Exadata / Oracle /Teradata or Netezza
