Job Description:

Retirement Onboarding & Operations (ROO) within Wealth Management Operations (WMO) provides onboarding, plan maintenance and operational support for Institutional and Personal Retirement clients for product lines offered through Retirement and Personal Wealth Solutions (RPWS).

The ROO Cashiering Team within Retirement Onboarding & Operations (ROO) is responsible for administering deposit and disbursement of plan assets for 401(k), Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation, Defined Benefit, Equity Award Services, & Employee Benefit Trust plans for a large number of employers, including many Fortune 500 companies. The team of 11 associates assists internal partners to help facilitate research and resolution of cash credit and debit breaks, as they occur.

This role will support the current Cashiering manager and Director of the Recordkeeping Support and Cashiering teams by managing internal project initiatives and risk routines including, but not limited to Operational Excellence, Financial Life Benefits, Policies & Procedures reviews, Self-Identified Audit Issues and annual Audits & Exams.

Role will include the following responsibilities:
  • Accountable for assisting the ROO Management team, with facilitating day to day processing in all aspects of cash and securities movement
  • Provide team support with covering daily processing functions, across a wide range of products
  • Analyzing existing functional documentation including policies, standards, desktop procedures, and process maps
  • Thoughtfully collaborates with operations team members to identify and address areas of risk and concern
  • Develops potential risk mitigation strategies
  • Support Benefits, Payroll, and Equity plan processing teams self-identified audit issues and exam process in coordination with risk leads
  • Accountable for analyzing present-state process and systems, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation
  • Plans, organizes, monitors and controls projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion
  • Effectively communicates with managers and peers on deliverables, timelines and overall necessary support needed
  • Report and analyze metric/metrics preparation and analysis for monthly business reviews, and daily staff capacity metrics & performance.

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrate teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter attitude; Demonstrates initiative and ability to work and execute with minimal supervision
  • Strategic/Conceptual Thinker, Innovative, Flexible, and Team Builder
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across and up the organization

  • Effective PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop presentations

  • An appetite and aptitude for reading and understanding policy and procedure documentation

Desired:
  • Experience in a prior project management, risk and/or support role
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Six Sigma, Agile or related project management methodology experience
  • Experience with managing process improvement
  • Knowledge of Retirement Plan products and processes
  • Bachelor's degree a plus
