We pride ourselves on fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their best.Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) & Internal Mobility. This mid-level management role requires significant relevant work experience. This position will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive DEI strategy and Internal Mobility programs while utilizing change management to ensure successful adoption of practices across the organization. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess a high level of expertise in utilizing data to make informed decisions on DEI, ultimately driving the performance of the business.DEI Key Responsibilities :Develop and implement a comprehensive DEI strategy aligned with the company's values and business objectives. Lead change management efforts to drive continued adoption of DEI practices, identifying stakeholders, and developing communication and training plans. Utilize data analytics to assess the current state of DEI within the organization, identify areas for improvement, and measure the impact of DEI initiatives on business performance. Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate DEI principles into all aspects of the organization, including recruitment, talent development, and decision-making processes. Partner with leaders to establish inclusive hiring practices and ensure diversity and representation goals are met across all levels of the organization. Raise awareness and promote understanding of DEI issues among employees at all levels; be a key influencer and change agent. Serve as a resource and advisor to the DEI Council, various Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and to employees and managers on DEI-related matters, providing guidance and support as needed. Recommend best practices for ERGs and advise on maximizing effectiveness of these groups. Monitor and analyze key metrics to assess the effectiveness of DEI initiatives and change management efforts and identify areas for improvement. Cultivate relationships with external partners, community organizations, and industry networks to 1) stay informed about best practices and emerging trends in DEI 2) maintain a network and pipeline of external talent.Internal Mobility Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement comprehensive internal mobility program aimed at identifying and facilitating career advancement opportunities for employees across departments and locations. Partner with HR team to leverage data from talent mapping exercises on internal talent pools, skill sets, competencies, and career aspirations Analyze data for trends, gaps, and opportunities for talent development and mobility. Facilitate Internal Career Moves : Serve as a point of contact for employees interested in exploring internal career opportunities. Provide guidance, support, and resources to facilitate smooth transitions and career moves within the organization. Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand workforce needs , succession planning goals, and talent requirements. Collaborate on talent mobility strategies and initiatives to meet organizational objectives. Track and Measure Success: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of internal mobility programs. Regularly evaluate program outcomes and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Use technology to drive internal mobility through skill and interests matching. Partner with business leaders to facilitate business-led mentoring actions utilizing tools and guidance. Serve as central point of contact for supporting, advising and tracking of such programs.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Relevant work experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

A track record of successfully leading organizational change initiatives.

Strong understanding of DEI principles, practices, and legislation, with the ability to translate theory into action.

Proficiency with data analytics and the ability to leverage data to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive decision-making and measure impact.

For this position, we expect to offer a base salary in the range of USD Alph/Kans – $150K to $170k, Chicago – $165k to $185k, NJ – 175k to 195k, NY – $180k to $200K. The specific salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors, including the experience of the successful candidate and their work location. In addition, all employees are eligible for competitive incentive targets, with awards based on overall corporate and individual performance.
