Information Security Engineer (HYBRID)

RECENT experience in the required technologies for this job. Reporting into the Senior Manager of Information Security, this resource will have responsibility for technical security engineering and operations of our server antivirus, firewall ACL review and approval, analyze, troubleshoot, and respond to a wide range of security requests covering all locations and the ability to communicate with all levels within the company. The position will assist the Senior Manager to assess, design, implement and provide ongoing information security services. The Information Security Engineer will also serve as a strong technical consultant to the enterprise business units, application, and technical teams. This is a very technical position and requires current experience and skills pertaining to the technology listed below.The Responsibilities• Maintain TrendMicro Workload Security, agents, troubleshooting, deployment, and migration.• Operational support of Cisco Umbrella and Palo Alto Prisma Access• Review firewall requests, sanitize requests to company standards and review with the approving manager.• Solution architect and engineering requests for security engineering and solution architecting • Ensures that information security deployments are properly architected, implemented, and have defined operational support.• Troubleshooting application security issues, using Wireshark for packet captures• Provide security consulting services, as needed, to various projects to ensure all information security needs are met.• Work with minimal supervision and be responsible for independently making a broad range of critical decisions.
