The objective of GTI is to balance both business alignment and the centralized delivery of core products and services. GTI is designed to address the unique infrastructure needs of specific lines of business and the demand to leverage economies of scale across the firm.GTI Enterprise Production Management (EPM) is responsible for service support and delivery for JPMorgan Chase's (JPMC) Global Technology Infrastructure.This role is for a senior system administrator within EPM Lifecycle Planning & Remediation. As a member of the planning and remediation team you will be leading a high visibility program that brings measurable improvement to the stability and security of the firm's infrastructure / applications.The successful candidate will be able to:

Own and coordinate the development of infrastructure remediation plans

Analyze infrastructure lifecycle and patch/hygiene breaks. Identify patterns, perform root case to identify improvement opportunities

Review current practices in managing infrastructure patching / hygiene and drive continues improvement initiatives to improve infrastructure resilience, security and cost.

Apply Site Reliability Engineering principals to engage and improve the lifecycle of systems and services.

Lead technical remediation and planning calls with line of business representatives / GTI partners.

Able to multi task and manage concurrent remediation efforts.

Job Requirements:

7+ years' experience in infrastructure support

3+ years' experience managing Operating Systems such as Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux servers (5.x, 6.x, 7.x) in a large enterprise environment.

2+ years' experience leading remediation projects

Knowledge of vulnerability management process and tools including scanning, patching, hardening / configuration management

Experience working as part of an Agile scrum team.

Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting.

Understanding of storage related technologies from a server perspective; working with SAN, NAS, external/remote storage media, etc.

Understanding of clustering, network load balancing and high availability solutions.

Understanding of core networking concepts such as routing, protocols, subnets, DNS

Preferred Skills:

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical audiences that include peers, partners, AD partners, senior management, and customers

Strong documentation skills with experience designing system design diagrams, application flow diagrams, and other related technical documentation.

Leadership abilities: ability to drive discussions with client, technical teams.

Self-Motivated. Ability to work independently

Experience managing escalations and providing management updates.
