This team works closely with our customers to build innovative technologies that are customized to drive business goals & provide the ultimate customer experience. As a member of the applications development family, you will help UPS grow & provide valuable services across the globe.About this role:The Intermediate Applications Developer provides input and support for full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She performs tasks within planned durations and established deadlines. This position collaborates with teams to ensure effective communication in supporting the achievement of objectives. He/She provides knowledge, development, maintenance, and support for applications.The Intermediate Applications Developer will participate in the application infrastructure initiatives including hardware and software patching, infrastructure upgrades, code deployments, installations, regulatory compliance, and support in a Windows environment.The ideal candidate will need a solid knowledge of multiple platforms and systems management and well as knowledge of Windows servers and shipping applications. Experience with SSMS to write queries, extract data and deploy code to the shipping database is required. Expertise with writing database queries, debugging and deploying code and has a fundamental understanding of database objects and relationships is a must. Roles will be, but not limited to, building Windows servers, installing and configuring software (patches and certificates), as well as troubleshooting Windows event log files.The ideal candidate must be able to provide phone support on a 24/7 rotating basis.Minimum Qualifications:

Experience with Agile Development, Couch Base, .NET, Java Programming and Scrum

Knowledge of Angular 2

Familiarity with Agile and Scrum Concepts, Multitasking and Technical Analysis

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and work experience
