FULL-TIME PERM POSITION IN ENGLEWOOD, NJ

Job Title: Interface Engine Programmer

Job Summary:Assumes primary responsibility for programming all system interfaces. This includes providing maintenance and support for existing interfaces, coding enhancements, and implementing new interfaces. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards in daily interactions. Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of Information Technology.

Job Responsibilities

Collaborates with vendor analysts and programmers to determine interface specification.
Analyzes user department functionality requirements impacting the interface design.
Programs and maintains interfaces.
Designs and coordinates the functional and integrated testing process.
Creates and maintains all documentation related to the interface.
Trains IT staff on new interfaces/changes for troubleshooting.
Monitors interfaces, making recommendations about interface efficiency and capability.
Responds to user requests for information regarding interface capabilities, providing options and recommendations.
Participates in IT on call rotation with interface team.
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

3-5 years working with interface engines, preferably Cloverleaf and Epic Bridges.
Documented experience in developing interfaces via interface engine.
Ability to set priorities, handles multiple projects, exercise professional judgment, and make decisions.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
Documented experience in developing interfaces via interface engine.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field required
