Description Robert Half is seeking an Investment Accountant to join our client's team located in the Lawrenceville, New Jersey area. The successful candidate will play a key role in handling our investment accounts and balance sheets. This role will require proficiency in reconciling investment data to the general ledger and preparing related reports. Responsibilities Analyze and review balance sheets and financial statement footnotes, focusing on management and regulatory investment accounting. Ensure accurate balancing of monthly and quarterly data generated by the PAM investment accounting system. Compile, reconcile, and analyze investment accounting related topics during fast close periods. Prepare and review PAM related reports including journals, production reports, and statutory reports. Reconcile investment data to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. Respond to financial requests and create multiple ad-hoc reports as required. Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications and monitor customer accounts for any necessary action. Troubleshoot any issues related to investment accounting and report accordingly. Contribute to a growing team, offering expertise in investment accounting.Requirements Proven experience in Investment Accounts and Balance Sheets is essential. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is desirable. Must possess strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data. Excellent communication skills are necessary for liaising with clients and colleagues. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills. Must have knowledge of the Reinsurance/Lloyds Markets. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively. Must adhere to strict confidentiality and compliance regulations. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
