IT Business Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Business Analyst for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Servicesclients in Hoboken, NJ. This position will be Hybrid On Site 3 days/week. Responsibilities :

• Works as a strategic partner with business leaders, external vendors, clients and others to facilitate technology and process based business solutions.
• Oversees and ensures BA Team analyses/develops project plans which address business problems and initiatives.
• Provides management and guidance to the BA staff and actively participates in all stages of project development, including research, design, programming, testing and implementation.
• Oversees and makes recommendations about employment related matters; Identifies staffing needs, prepares job descriptions and provides feedback and developmental guidance.
• Identifies staffing needs, prepares job descriptions and provides feedback and developmental guidance.
• Conducts performance appraisals, monitors staff functions, monitors workload and projects of team members to ensure projects are aligned by resources, capacity and skills required.
• Manages team to ensure proper development of project plan; communicates updated information; coordinates user review and approval of system development and delivery and supports system implementation, including tracking of deliverables and development of conversion migration plans.

• 3+ years of Business Analyst or related experience
• Experience in supporting Project Management processes.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Time Management skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Azure Dev Ops and Planview would be a plus
• College Degree required
