Role Description: This role will collaborate with the GRM Data Stewards, Data Users, and Data Owners to understand their business processes and data needs to develop business requirements for their strategic data initiatives. You will also engage with the Front-Office Data Strategy Executives and Data Stewards as well as Technology teams to understand GRM and Front Office process, technology and data connections, perform analysis to help devise solutions, and articulate them in the business requirements documents.You will translate business needs into systems solutions: Consult with data stewards, process owners, subject matter experts, technical experts, end users and other stakeholders to gather information about the current and target state business process, data attributes and data sources, control features, interfaces with other systems required Determine points-of-failure at the hand-off points across systems and functions and build requirements for appropriate controls Work with the GRM and Front-Office stakeholders and to understand current pain points, and assist with root cause analysis on data quality issues to provide strategic solutions Understand and drive adoption of authorized data sources Analyze information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, segment high-level information into details, and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding of business requirements Elaborate the stated requirements to sufficient level of detail that accurately define the business need within the specified solution scope Validate that requirements meet the business need Document business, task, and workflow processes using industry standard methods including business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, diagrams, flow charts, etc., ensuring that these deliverables can be used to design a solution to the stated business problem Assesses solutions to confirm that the business goals are met and requirements are satisfied, including defining acceptance criteria and monitoring implementation Confirm that stakeholders have a shared understanding of requirements; manage conflicts and issues to resolution. Obtain needed approval of solution requirements. Ensure that stakeholders have access to business analysis work products Communicate plans, progress and risks appropriately to the stakeholders and sponsors Review technical solution designs from a business point of view and recommend alternatives Serve as a liaison and resource to the Data Stewards, project managers, developers, and other project team members throughout each phase of the process to help clarify and/or resolve issues related to requirement, design, testing and acceptance specifications Assist in project scoping and planning, and work with the stakeholders to define acceptance testsYOUR IMPACT: Serve as subject matter expert – build deep knowledge of a data domain and supporting systems and data governance Drive quality and consistency – develop standardized templates, tools, design practices to promote high quality deliverables and consistent practices Drive data quality in systems design – create data flow and system activity diagrams, and write specifications for data and technology enable business processes along with the requirements for robust data quality controls Drive innovation – solve complex data-related problems for GRM process owners using a variety of technical and analytical skills Own your project – manage and monitor project execution – from requirements to testing and production – working with all the stakeholders across GRM, Business and TechnologyBASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors or Masters in computer science, system analysis or related field Strong process/systems analysis, design and documentation Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Ability to monitor tight deadlines and adapt to unexpected requirement changes Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead discussions with counterparts Self-motivated with an ability to work on one’s own with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in high-pressure situationsAdditional Skills & Qualifications: Data analysis experience Working with credit risk models – nice to have, but not required Technical writing – BRD and functional requirements – translating data analysis to the business side Converse business and data problems for solutions Having some technical skills is good – SQL is nice to have Global markets – massive python-based infrastructure so python is nice to have as wellAbout TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
