Role: IT Operation Manager Location: Philadelphia, PA (Remote till Covid) Type- Fulltime JD: Position summary The Information Technology Operations Manager (ITOM) is responsible for overseeing the internal technology operations of the organization. All internal company technology including telecommunications, networking, Audio-Visual equipment and internal business applications are the responsibility of the Operations Manager. The ITOM must work with other IT and business leaders to ensure systems are applications are available and the organization is effectively using its resources Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Strategy & Planning
- University degree in the field of computer science or information systems and 10 years related work experience.
- Certifications in one or more of the following preferred, but appropriate experience will be satisfactory: Cisco, VMWare, Windows, Oracle
- Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Linux, VMWare, Widows Server(s), AWS, Azure.
- Strong technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including Routers, Firewalls, switches, VOIP, VPNs.
- Extensive application support experience with ERPs, Salesforce, Oracle, Microsoft.
- Extensive knowledge of programming languages, including PL-SQL, Java, APEX.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
- Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
- Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of project management principles.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Ability to perform general mathematical calculations for the purpose of creating business cases, budgets, and so on.
