IT Project Financial Analyst

My direct client in Northern NJ is looking an IT Project Financial Analyst. The Analyst will work directly with the finance team and will also be engaged with the stakeholders and IT department to track project financials against plan, budgeting and forecasting of technology initiatives and provide variance commentary on a monthly basis.

• The candidate will be responsible for project finances and controlling activities to meet internal and external customers' needs and expectations.
• Develop financial models, dashboards and projections.
• Analyze project progress compared to budget and create presentations to communicate findings, projections and recommendations to leadership.
• Provide accurate financial dashboards and reporting of project initiatives. Reports will include commentary for budget vs actual, forecast planning and validate saves.

• Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Office suite as well as knowledge of relevant software applications.
• Knowledge of VBA is a plus
• Solid understanding OpEx, CapEx and Internal Capitalization is a plus
