The Project Manager ensures that proper planning, estimating, resource management and execution are performed on critical implementations that prevent and remediate security and compliance issues thus keeping applications, data, and network infrastructure safe, secure and compliant. Risk Management and Issue Management are also important functions within the scope of this role.The Project Manager works with a network of stakeholders across the enterprise to implement controls, technology and policies. These stakeholders include: Application Development teams, Information Security and Cyber Defense SMEs, Infrastructure, Audit, Compliance, Third-Party Oversight, clients, business partners and external vendors. The Project Manager keeps senior executives briefed and well-informed of the overall program and project status while addressing escalations and managing to project schedules.Major Responsibilities & Accountability:The Project Manager is responsible for driving complex, high priority, projects or component phases of larger programs. Accountable for delivering projects on time, within budget, and within scope. This individual will lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure. The Project Manager exemplifies strong initiative and management skills.

  • Insures project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving:
    • Project Schedule
    • Risk and Issue Management
    • Scope Change Management
  • Provides clear and concise project communication; both written and verbal.
  • Facilitates/manages project communications and stakeholder, client and project team expectations.
  • Performs duties and makes complex decisions and recommendations under limited supervision, applying a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures.
Requirements
  • Agile/AppDev/Kanban/Waterfall methodologies
  • Preferred: Experience with Identity and Access Management projects.
  • Previous experience working in a technical role in Application Development, Infrastructure or Cyber Security - the security projects are highly complex and technical in nature
  • Strong understanding of technology implementations and engineering practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and or Microsoft Project Server
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Proven problem solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection
  • Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans
  • Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
  • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, providing options and recommendations relating to resolving issues, mitigating risks, and resolving escalated items.
Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, plus 4+ years progressive management experience, including management of major projects, in a large operating environment.
  • PMP preferred.
  • CISSP, CISA, CISM or other technical certifications preferred.
