Job Description

• Our client is looking for an IT SOX Audit consultant. He or she will report to the Sr. Director, SOX Leader, working closely with the team on various SOX and audit projects to support the Company s SOX IT controls over financial reporting, focused on our Europe business.
• Specifically, the IT SOX Audit consultant will assist the team in the participation of walkthroughs and testing of controls in areas of focus including Logical Security, Infrastructure Security, Change Management, Computer Operations and Integrations.
• Plan, execute and test SOX ITaudits to identify and evaluate the company s controls over financial reporting. This will include IT general controls, technology infrastructure, system upgrades and implementations. Own assigned technology audit projects to evaluate the company s controls and identify deficiencies and operational ineffectiveness. Communicate audit observations and develop and operationalize remediation plans with business partners. These assigned projects will include all areas of SOX IT audit functions (Logical Security, Change Management, Application / Infrastructure environments, SDLC, ELC s) across different platforms (e.g., Windows, UNIX) in select Europe market. Work with third-party service provider tracking and review of relevant SOC1 reports with process owners.

• Bachelor s degree in an IT related discipline, Accounting, or Finance required. Professional Certification (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIA, etc.). Advanced degree a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant IT SOX auditing and controls experience in a Big Four or relevant global organization within an IT Audit or SOX function
• Ability to apply relevant scoping practices to identify IT processes supporting critical financial functions. Conducting walkthroughs and testing of IT related controls including Logical Security, Infrastructure Security, Change Management, Computer Operations and Integrations.
• Advanced knowledge of IT, Accounting, Finance and Operational processes, internal controls frameworks and risk standards (e.g., COSO, COBIT, ISO, Sarbanes Oxley Act, IIA IPPF). Knowledge of data analytic tools a plus (e.g., Tableau, AlignGRC). Experience with auditing both Application and Infrastructure environments across multiple platforms (Windows, UNIX, Linux) required.
• Progressive written and verbal communication skills, and technical knowledge to enable identification, communication and resolution of findings and recommendations to all management levels
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, learns new areas quickly, take ownership of issues/projects, develop recommendations, and align with team.
