Java FS Developer with Web Services and REST API

Position Description CGI is seeking to hire a Java Full Stack Developer with WebServices and REST API experience in Jersey City, NJ. You will be a part of an agile team to develop and deliver a dynamic application at a large U.S. Financial institution. This is an excellent opportunity to work with CGI's Global Banking and Financial Services practice to help innovate and deliver market leading Wealth management solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities Full stack development in Java environment.Engagement with product analysts and solution architects to interpret functional specifications to develop innovative solutions.Build secure, scalable, and dedication applications.Work in Agile environment and actively participate in sprint/project/release planning to provide development estimates for the program.Actively participates in gathering requirements and design reviews, sprint readiness and retrospective reviews and other inspections.Develop and complete unit testing cases.Provide support through SIT and UAT test phases.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role 10 plus years experience in Java backend with Webservices and Rest based API development experience.10 plus years experience in Web development with focus on Angular 9 or higher.5 plus years experience in Spring frameworks required; Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data , Spring Security, Spring Batch experience is a plusProficient in Oracle, PL SQL and RDBMS concepts as well as NO SQL databases.Must have proficiency in application frameworks and containerization.Proven understanding of agile models of development and DevOps tools.Must have experience implementing Continuous Integration / Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices. Proficient with build management toolsets like Jenkins.Experience with developing Microservices based applications.Experience with any of the big 3 cloud providers (Azure/AWS/GCP).Experience in customer-facing engagements.Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.Proficient with Backend for Frontend (BFF) design pattern. Experience with NodeJS is a plus.Proficient with event driven architectures and experience with KAFKA or similar event streaming productsProficient with Reactive message driven application stacks . Experience with AKKA is preferredProficient with Enterprise caching products. Experience with Hazelcast is preferredExperience with a rules engine like DROOLs is a plus.

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $76,000-$150,000
