RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java Instructor for a remote, contract position.
Responsibilities: In this role, the Java Instructor will instruct a 10 week intensive course, either online or in person Use a proven curriculum to guide aspiring developers towards entry level or advanced capabilities in an accelerated timeframe Have clear vision with innovative solutions to teaching the subject matter As a Java Instructor, this role will work with a management team to continuously improve the student experience, by providing students with world-class instruction, give feedback on curriculum, and equip students with skill set to be promptly successful in a developer role Analyze data and feedback consistently to ensure the curriculum is up to date Design outcomes for graduates and track their progress The Java Instructor will help recruit other like-minded instructors who care about building the next generation of software developersREQUIREMENTS: 5 or more years of experience working in team setting with Continuous Integration, database structures and full stack development Must be proficient in Java High capability of written and verbal communication, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders; High levels of initiative, independent decision making, proactiveness and resilienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
