Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Junior HR Business Partner for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Investment Management clients in Princeton, NJ or New York, NY. Our HR Business Partner team lives our values, understand how our culture comes to life, and possess a deep knowledge of the business and delivery of all HR services to internal client groups to drive outstanding performance. This role will serve as a Junior HR Business Partner for the Global Investments HRBP team. As a Junior HR Business Partner, you will be a member of the company's HRBP client team and principal support to the HR Business Partners in driving and executing the business and firm-wide talent agenda. To be successful in this role, you will need to build relationships across HR and the Firm, learn the business, its leaders and organizational structure, and problem solve across a wide range of HR topics. Responsibilities :

  • Partner with aligned HR Business Partners to project manage and execute talent practices and other key initiatives, including creating client ready materials and reports, providing analytics and insights and ensuring accurate data in systems
  • Provide exemplary client service by anticipating and delivering solutions for the needs of HR Business Partners and clients throughout HR processes
  • Lead HR initiatives and deliverables with an eye toward identifying opportunities to achieve greater consistency, scale, efficiency and quality
  • Create reports, analyze and present relevant metrics and insights to drive decision making
  • Serve as point of contact to managers in problem solving talent issues; provide generalist support and advisory services
  • Be a subject matter expert on the company HR's tools, processes and team interdependencies across all areas of the HR (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Diversity & Inclusion, Compensation, Mobility, Legal and Finance)
Required Skills:
  • Education Requirement: BA/BS degree or equivalent; (certifications and course work in specific areas of HR expertise preferred)
  • 3+ years experience in HR, consulting, or similar role in a global firm
  • Ability to prioritize day to day focus, in a fast paced environment, to meet the needs of the business
  • Demonstrated reporting and analytical skills, fluency with MS Office, and ability to summarize information tailored to different audiences
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail and high standards for accuracy
  • Strong project management skills with ability to anticipate and hit deadlines related to client deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to help draft emails for HR Business Partners to leverage for senior clients/employees/managers
  • Fast learner, proactive, adaptable with ability to function in a fast changing, global environment

  • Experience with Workday
  • Excellent interpersonal and partnership skills
  • Commercial acumen and demonstrated interest in financial services and/or technology
