Lab Coordinator

Lab CoordinatorKelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (Kelly OCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking a Lab Coordinator for a long-term engagement at one of our Global clients in East Hanover, New Jersey. All Kelly OCG employees receive annual performance reviews.Objective:Provide a Lab Coordinator for R&D to perform sample submissions, review setups, shipments and aid developers with data entry, sample testing and materials ordering.Job Description and Deliverables:Enter sample requests into GLIMS system for analytical and micro analysis.

Order supplies and ingredients for bench top experiments, pilot plant trials and product sample reviews.

Assemble and initiate shelf life storage studies and conduct product pull.

Prepare and ship samples as needed and supply tracking information.

Aid Product Developers with bench-top sample preparation.

Utilize various pieces of lab equipment to quantify product attributes and report findings to the Product Developer.

Enter test data into Excel or other database systems.

Prepare lab area for product reviews

Assist with pilot plant trials (Fair Lawn, NJ) as needed, and evaluate the product in lab.

Skill Set:Associate Degree with technical experience or (1+ years) experience in industry.

Strong computer-based skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Good interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to learn internal computer systems such as Outlook, Coupa, IPaySmart, GLims, etc.

Excellent organization skills

Ability to multi-task
