Lab Technician

Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Lab Technician role is a pivotal position within our R&D organization, focusing on technical testing and laboratory support for wet wipe projects. The successful candidate will operate testing equipment pertinent to nonwoven products, generate and scrutinize data, and actively engage in the development of new testing methods, evaluation of product properties, and enhancement of raw materials. This role involves extensive and repetitive testing to analyze the properties of current, proposed, and competitive materials, aiding in the substantiation of product concepts and claims.Hard Skills

Technical testing of wet wipes to ensure product performance

Development of new test methods; recording, summarizing, and reporting data

Evaluating and analyzing competitive products

Sample preparation and conducting employee panel evaluations

Supporting manufacturing line trials and production scale-up

Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment (balances, pH meters, viscometers, etc.)

Laboratory batching of prototype and final formulations for studies and reviews

Soft Skills

Ability to work in a rapidly changing testing environment

Effective communication with supervisors and project teams

Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment
