Lead IT Business ManagerThe role plays a critical role in developing strategy and execution plans, to develop, integrate and simplify processes. The candidate should be able to work to promote TIAA culture of agility, operational excellence, accountability, transparency, and data-informed decisions. Interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for this role, as good teamwork is important for our business success. The candidate should also be excellent written and verbal communicator and possess the ability to identify opportunities for growth.Key Responsibilities and DutiesThe business manager role requires exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, analytic detail and rigor, and ability to influence via respect and trust. This role will require interaction across entire Global Infrastructure organization and our business partners including Finance, Sourcing, Cyber, EPMO to name a few. The role will require key skillset to manage financials, workforce, budgeting, risk, strategic decision-making driving transformation and greater organizational effectiveness. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize and balance work efforts while building a reputation for reliability, safety, objectivity, transparency, and partnership across the organization.Design and execute initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence with clear milestones and measurable success criteria.Identify areas of strategic and transformational importance, engage the right people and data to focus execution and customer value.Improve and/or revamp existing processes to streamline and increase efficiency across the team.Coordinate operational and strategic planning, budgets, program investments, and allocations across Global Infrastructure Services.Provide clear, concise, transparent, and insightful communication to the team, executives, and a diverse set of stakeholders.Prepare management reporting and presentations for senior management to increase transparency and visibility of key items/initiatives.Perform ad hoc analysis on a variety of topics as requested from senior management.Be a key bridge from leadership to the rest of the organization, conveying and ensuring successful communication and implementation of critical organizational and operational decisions.Help maintain a strong and consistent control environment across Global Infrastructure Services.Promote early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk.Promote a community of inclusive leadership; Client First, Act with integrity, deliver excellence, be accountable, value the people, operate as one.Help make the team a great, inclusive place to work.Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) Preferred

Career Level8ICPotential Salary: $130,800.00 USDActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
