Lead Java Developer

Basic qualification:

• Seeking a Principal Java Tech Lead with excellent java coding and development skills.
• 10+ years of solid and proven software development skills and coding practices in Java.

• This position is responsible for driving and managing numerous simple to moderate portfolio projects.
• Additional responsibilities include building development roadmaps, managing project schedules and collaborating to resolve issues in one or more business units.
• Act as development lead and ensure all coding best practices are shared with the team and implemented.
• Validate that code being built satisfies all specified coding standards and guidelines.
• Develop quality software solutions given the specific tool set (JAVA framework and JAVA related tools) that align with client's requirements and expectations.
• Lead technical discussions as required.
• Provide solutions to technical issues.
• Ensure development schedules are met.
• Ensure that the solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.
• Support planning for development, testing and deployment phases.
• Partner with Product Owner(s), Enterprise Solution Architect(s), Application Architects, and business functional leaders to formulate strategies, plans, designs and architectures for complex business Applications utilizing various open source technologies & tools, best practices, architecture patterns & models.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible for technical screening / tech interviews and for team development and team performance.

• Bachelor s degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work
