Our direct client is looking for a Linux System Administrator for a full-time direct hire in Moorestown, NJ 08057. Candidates must be vaccinated to be consider for this role. - Application management experience.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Comfortable with Linux & Windows operating systems (Ubuntu, 2016+).
- General knowledge in system and network operation (databases, application servers, virtualization).
- Ability to understand the principles of the hosted applications (functionalities, architecture, flows, component interaction).
- Ability to interact with R&D and Customer Support teams (Service Centers).
- Networking Troubleshooting
- standards: PCI DSS, PA DSS, PCI P2PE , ISO 27001, SSAE 16 or 18, ISAE 3402 type I or type II.
- Knowledge about Web server configuration.
- ITIL knowledge.
- Curiosity, experience or notions of a programming language (Python, Perl).
- Maintain the infrastructure in operational conditions, both systems (servers, storage, etc.) and applications, networks (LAN, WAN, associated hardware ).

- Part of the 24/7 "on call" process.
- Maintain system health and resolve outages.
- Manage application maintenance tasks.
- Monitoring of key database and application components usage.
- Application incident management (database, system, network, service, application ).
- Generation of alert messages in case of an incident and/or problem having an impact on one or more customers.
- Management of the lifecycle of all problems. Prevent incidents from happening, minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented.
- Identify, assess and control risks, analyze the value of assets of the business, identify threats to those assets. Evaluate how vulnerable each asset is to those threats.
- Purge older data to prevent applications from having bad performance.
- Certificate management (creation or renewal).
- Centralization of application logs.
- Application release; evolution / upgrade of hosted applications to be compliant with the latest version released.
- Carry out application exploitation including accounts creation and follow-up.
- Provision of dashboards, statistics, metrics and KPIs for applications.
- Provide technical support to the Customer Service Centers.
- Gather, analyze, store and share knowledge and information within DC Operations.
- Maintenance of information about configuration items required to deliver a DCO service, including their relationships.
- Holder of an engineering degree or higher technician with a specialization in computer science.
- Proven experience of at least five years in a context similar to that presented.
