Description We are offering an opportunity for a Logistics Clerk role in the industry of logistics, located near Fort Lee, New Jersey, 07047, United States. This position is a long-term contract role that involves handling customer service, international shipping, data entry, and tracking shipments. Responsibilities: Arrange bookings for shipments and freight Track inbound freight to ensure timely arrival and proper delivery Enter shipment data accurately into the system Handle accounts payable related to each transaction Coordinate with customs brokers for international shipments Provide excellent customer service to clients and partners Maintain records of shipments and freight Resolve any issues related to shipments and deliveries Use data entry skills to update and maintain logistics database Monitor and track international shipments.Requirements Proficient in customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with international shipping procedures and regulations. Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to track shipments effectively and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders. Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain management. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using logistics software and other relevant computer applications. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently. High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
