Low Voltage Technician – Fire / Cameras / Access Control / Cabling

We install and support mission-critical systems including fire alarms, surveillance, access control, nurse call, wander management, and structured cabling.

Position: Full-Time Low Voltage Technician

We are hiring motivated techs who want a long-term home with real career growth. You’ll be part of a professional crew installing and servicing systems throughout New Jersey.

Responsibilities:

Install, terminate & test Cat5e/Cat6 structured cabling

Install and service CCTV systems, including IP cameras and NVRs

Install and service access control systems & door hardware

Mount devices and wire fire alarm system components

Perform clean, code-compliant work in active buildings

Troubleshoot field issues and ensure projects stay on schedule

Communicate professionally with clients and team members

Requirements:

Low-voltage field experience required (1+ years preferred)

Proficient with basic tools, testers, labeling, and cable routing

Comfortable on ladders, lifts, and working in ceilings

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Ability to pass background checks as required by facilities

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Fire alarm wiring experience

Access control hardware installs

Healthcare or commercial retrofit experience

NICET certification or manufacturer training

We’re willing to train a driven tech who shows initiative and good mechanical skills.
