Mainframe Developer Weehawken, NJ (Hybrid model )(2 days onsite in a week ) (local candidates only)

Long term contract8+ years Total experience Education Required: Bachelor’s or Master's degree in computer science or related scientific field

8-12 yrs experience – more is not necessarily better, we will look for banking projects

DB2, Changeman, Stored Procedures, Cobol, CICS all

required at good level

JCL/COBOL/CICSStrong mainframe skills including COBOL, JCL, CA7, VSAM

Mainframe Development background in design, analysis and coding: COBOL (CICS), JCL, CICS, CA7 etc.
Strong knowledge and experience in IDMS.
IT technical background & mainframe programming experience
Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design and development.
Quick starter to troubleshoot/resolve incidents and business support items
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working in a global environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task effectively
Prioritize Business Impact and Urgency
Perform application support tasks like: systems support, security reviews, & maintenance tasks
