As part of the acquisition of Wells Fargo Corporate Trust Division, this team is opening a new Manager role for this great Server Engineer team!

CTS Service Operations NA contains 100+ staff located across the Canton and Denver sites, ensuring the maximum availability of any operational IT services. This includes fulfilling user requests, resolving service failures, fixing problems, as well as carrying out routine operational tasks.

CTS Globally have approximately 1500 employees, with approximately half of them in Oceania and the other half split between the Americas and EMEA regions. Each region is split into 3 major division's; Global Planning and Delivery, Service Operations and Development Services.

This growing team is opening up a new Manager role to assist in maintaining quality service to internal customers.

Working within the Service Operations department, the Foundations team is responsible for providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support for all of CTS customers and clients, as well as enhancing customer experience through investigating and resolving system faults enabling our customers to run their operations effectively.

The Server Support Manager will support a team of 10-11 Server Engineers.

  • Managing Server Engineers who provide 2nd and 3rd Line support to Business escalated via the 'Service Now' system
  • Ensuring that the team deliver exceptional service and that incident and requests are resolved within SLA or agreed timescales
  • Ensuring all Server Systems are available and meet with Company requirements.
  • Building pro-active and constructive professional relationships with other teams and departments
  • Ensuring resources are skilled, trained and organised to ensure optimal coverage of services with effective and efficiently sized team
  • Performs regular staff 1-1 meetings and performance reviews
  • Ensure individuals understand what is expected of them through clear communication, and have objectives against which performance is continually reviewed
  • Providing support to POC and deployment activities when GP&D require SME resource to feed into the architectural design of a new service, and to help document the system to a state where it can be transitioned into the Foundations support structure or Service desk as level 1 support/BAU
  • Providing out of hours cover according to stipulated rotas. (on call)

Required:

  • Proficient communication skills: must be able to listen with full attention to employee's concerns, adapt communication based on each employee's personality style, and manage conflict in a way that all parties experience a satisfactory outcome.
  • Multiple years' experience supporting day-to-day Microsoft Windows Server platforms and products (Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019, Active Directory), Citrix, VMWare, Faxination, Windows Clusters.
  • Diverse in-depth technical knowledge and appreciation of Windows Servers, Hypervisors, SCCM, SOE, Firewalls, Switches, Exchange. Storage, SANs
  • Able to work with both technical and those with limited understanding of technical concepts.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage multiple change work streams, often across many technologies
  • Strong accountability and results-oriented, with ability to set priorities independently, provide follow-through, and meet objectives
  • Understanding of ITIL v3 processes and functions

Preferred:A proven track record supporting the majority of the following technologies - MS Windows, Windows Clustering, Active Directory, VMware.

Compensation. $120,000 - $150,000
