Marketing Assistant

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Marketing Assistant in the banking industry, specifically in savings and loans, in New Jersey. In this role, your main function will be to support our marketing team with daily activities, focusing on areas such as internal communications, event management, community relations, budget tracking, advertising strategy, and digital metrics.Responsibilities: Create, monitor and schedule social media content under the guidance of the Marketing Manager. Monitor customer reviews, comments, and questions submitted to our social media sites and online directory listings. Utilize tools like Google Analytics to monitor traffic to our website. Assist in the creation and design of advertising materials and website content. Participate in the planning and execution of digital advertising programs, and track and monitor campaign results. Assist in planning, logistics, and communications for both internal and external events. Process paperwork and deliverables for the bank's sponsorship of community groups or organizations. Plan, gather content, and produce the quarterly internal newsletter. Assist in the creation and scheduling of content for branch digital marketing displays. Categorize and log all marketing invoices into the budget tracking sheet. Assist the deposit and lending teams with sales and marketing support requests. Oversee orders from departments placed on the online promotional items store. Assist with the planning and execution of marketing programs and initiatives. Monitor customer survey program reporting and interact with business lines as needed. Coordinate the approval and retention process for advertising materials compliance reviews. Incorporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion messaging into internal and external communications. Comply with all relevant bank policies and procedures.02720-0013031343Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign Familiarity with CRM and Database management Experience in creating and managing advertisements Proficient in blogging to enhance brand awareness Understanding of budget processes within a marketing context Experience in campaign planning and execution Ability to utilize social media platforms for marketing purposes Proficiency in using Canva for creating visual content Experience in conducting audit reviews Ability to effectively manage scheduling tasks A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively Familiarity with the banking and savings & loan industry.
