Mechanic- Gas and Diesel

Canete Landscape and Snow Removal Company is located in Passaic County New Jersey. We are in need of a Shop Mechanic to service our growing fleet of Gas and Diesel vehicles and as well as our Small Engine Equipment. The candidate should have the ability to

Troubleshoot and conduct repairs on gas and diesel engines

Perform preventive maintenance on machinery & equipment

Clean and apply lubricants to all mechanical components

Communicate with other mechanics, field supervisors and management as needed

Follow established Company procedures

Work independently when required

Keep logs of work performed

Prior experience as a Mechanic in a shop environment is required and an ASE Certification is preferred.

The hours are 6:30-2:30 M-F. Saturdays are required in peak seasons
