Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Position Description & Responsibilities
Plan and conceptualize mechanical designs and prepare equipment specifications for incinerator/furnace, refractory, casting, equipment for thermal combustion system and/or Air Pollution Control System.
Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and MS office.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and subcontractors.
Perform detailed documentation to track project development and design process.
Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget
To be able to collect, combine and organize all information given to him/her verbally or in documentation form which needs to be converted or interpreted into design drawings and documents according to Company CAD Standards and Engineering Guidelines.
Self motivated to obtain and extract information and data from the appropriate sources as necessary to develop and complete the design drawings.
Possess willingness for self-improvement and flexibility to adjust to very dynamic situations and project commitments.
Position Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or in a related field.
2-5 years of experience working in engineering for thermal or combustion systems.
Firm grasp of engineering concepts, and experience designing mechanical systems and thermal products.
Excellent math skills: ability to apply advanced mathematical principles and statistics to solve problems.
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCAD, or similar.
Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability.
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Capability to secure and maintain satisfactory work.
Intermediate user of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat on Microsoft Windows OS.
Must be self-motivated and a great team worker.
Some traveling (domestic and overseas) is required for equipment inspections or field meetings.
