Immediate Medical Technologist opportunity with one of the largest diagnostic laboratories in the country! This position is looking for a candidate with a bachelors degree within a science and experience working with urinalysis specifically. Description:

Will perform all necessary laboratory testing in the detection, diagnosis, and prognosis of disease.

Follows written lab procedures for the correct handling and processing of specimens.

Utilize UF1000 and UD10 instrumentation for urinalysis testing

Trouble shoot any laboratory machinery equipment

Provide software analysis for all results

Reviews all pertinent SOPMs.

Reviews accuracy and completeness of results prior to releasing in the Laboratory Information System (if applicable). Recognizes unexpected or unreasonable results and/or testing delays.

Follows protocols for acceptance/rejection of patient results.

Locating and transporting specimens as per company standards and protocols.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday 12AM-8:30AM or Tuesday-Saturday 12AM-8:30AM Day training Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related life science and/or combination of education and meets CLIA personnel standard criteria.

Need experience in urine microscopy or instrumentation

Night shift experience preferred

1 year of CLIA lab experience plus degree will qualify as technologist
