- Provide Tier 2 support of production applications
- Act as a subject matter expert of assigned applications for all internal business partners
- Update application configuration as needed to meet the business requirements
- Maintain application configuration including user security
- Monitor application health and performance
- Interface directly with software vendors and consultants for development and support
- Consult directly with users to assess their needs and then create and implement a strategy to improve either the business or application
- Provide end user and technical training to business and inter-department personnel
- Create knowledge base documentation and training materials for End User Support (EUS)
- Create technical documentation for internal department consumption
- Interpret, author and update technical and user documentation as needed
- Assist the business in developing business requirements and creating technical/functional documentation
- As needed, serve as leader and/or member of project teams
- Manage, support and mentor off-shore analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience required
- Prior business application technical support experience preferred
- Experience leading and/or working on project teams
- Experience leading and/or working with off-shore teams
- Proven experience supporting mission critical IT applications
- Knowledge in the following areas required:
- Windows desktop and server operating system
- SQL and programming languages
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in any or all the following areas strongly preferred:
- Food Inventory Systems
- QSR / C-Store POS Systems
- ERP Systems
