Mobile Application Development- Android / Kotlin

We are looking for an Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. Your primary focus will be the development of Android applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.

Roles and responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizesFamiliarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end servicesStrong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practicesExperience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuningAbility to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometersKnowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasksAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirementsFamiliarity with cloud message APIs and push notificationsA knack for benchmarking and optimizationUnderstanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelinesProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitFamiliarity with continuous integration

Job RequirementsMust have hands on experience Android app development.Must of working experience on native/jni/NDK level work.Good understanding of mobile client and web server communication(Rest API, JSON).Experience in domain knowledge such as RIL (LTE, CDMA, EvDO, WCDMA, GSM/EDGE, TCP/IP )Good working knowledge on libraries( Media framework, Webkit, SQLite, OpenGLES/SGL, SSL)Strong APP framework knowledge on Android with Activity manager, Window manager, Content providers, View systems, Telephony manager , Notification, Resource, Location expertise.Memory management – Data structures, Heap, Stack, etc.,Hands on experience on Threads/Async TasksExperience on battery management and display management.Hands on knowledge on FTP/FTPS/SFTPExperience on android system classes with phone calls(VoLTE, VoWIFI, 1xCall), SMS, Messaging with other apps, bluetooth, WIFI, IMS registration, Browser interactionExperience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
