Business Analyst to join our team with a goal to reshaping how healthcare is delivered, managed and experienced.This group is responsible for bridging the gap between technical operations and business operations for Medical Devices Regulatory Information Management initiatives.You will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing and building a deep comprehension of the User Stories that are in scope for development in the current sprint and current release (includes both business process understanding and functional understanding of User Stories).
  • Partner with the development team (developers, testers and quality) to ensure that they comprehend the User Stories accurately in order to ensure rapid development of our releases and in order to reduce defects caused by lack of understanding of requirements.
  • Participate and drive the Business Analyst aspect of Test Script review and Test Execution Review.
  • Test Script Review: Ensure the test scripts provide full coverage of User Stories and ensure that test scripts accurately test the User Stories.
  • Test Execution Review: Review the test executions to confirm that the User Stories have been properly developed and are functioning accurately.
  • Execute smoke testing of completed User Stories as they flow through the development Kanban. Document bugs in JIRA as necessary and work with the development team to get them fixed and completed.
  • Update supporting SDLC documentation as necessary per the guidance of the lead Business Analysts. (e.g. permissions matrix, system process flows, traceability matrix, etc.)
  • Provide support and guidance to Product Owner for UAT Activities and UAT Test Script review. (e.g. UAT tester onboarding, UAT Test Script review, UAT Test Execution review, etc.)
  • Partner with lead BA’s to elicit and document requirements (User Stories) for upcoming releases.
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years professional experience
  • Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven, self starter with the ability to work well in a team environment, solve problems, and drive results
  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Experience and / or certification in agile/scrum.
  • Detail oriented, organized and highly observant individual who can keep up with a fast-paced team.
  • An individual who can think strategically and is a good listener that can then apply themselves to learn quickly.
  • An individual who can explain things logically and succinctly to peers in our scrum team.
  • Must be commutable to Somerville, NJ
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience and / or certification in SAFe
  • Experience and / or certification in JIRA / XRAY
  • Experience working with validated / GxP systems and associated SDLC documentation
  • Experience with Appian or similar Business Process Mapping solutions.
  • Experience within the Medical Device industry or similar product manufacturing industry working toward a Regulatory Affairs agenda
