Oracle Implementation Project Manager

Position Description CGI is seeking seasoned program managers to join our growing team supporting life science clients through end to end solution offerings and professional services. The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This program lead manager will work at various CGI/ clients consulting and executing various life science business and IT initiatives from road map assessment architecture best practice phase implementations, and go live.

Your future duties and responsibilities• 100% accountable for managing the project and its success.• Plans, organizes, leads, and monitors the activities of the Consulting/Delivery team.• Ensures that there is adequate staffing on the project and that all staff is trained on the project's procedures applying to their roles.• Provides Client resources requirements for the project.• Works with the Client Program Managers (IT & Business) to manage the project.• Maintains overall control of the schedule (person-days) and the delivery of all expected deliverables.• Prepares with CGI Deputy PM the management deliverables (e.g. Project Plan, work plan, management reviews, requests for changes and outstanding issues) and seeks approval when necessary.• Notifies the CGI Engagement Manager of discrepancies in planning and submits recommendations to resolve these issues.• Takes action on issues of non-compliance in quality.• Keeps the lines of communication open among all project team members.• Tracks with CGI Deputy PM the completion and approval of deliverables.• Tracks any decisions made regarding Project Change Requests, outstanding issues and potential risks.• Works with the Client Program Managers (IT & Business) to complete the Project Management Plan, submits it for approval and ensures that CGI resources are informed• Reports on the progress by the CGI delivery team to the Client Program Managers (IT & Business).• Chairs the Weekly Project Team meetings.• Prepares Weekly Status report and attends Weekly Program Status meetings and Coordination meeting.• Submits Project Change Requests that affect the overall project budget

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Strong familiarity with project management software and collaboration tools, such as MS Project, JIRA, Microsoft Planner, and SharePoint.• Experience in Agile methodology.• PMP Certification is a plus.• Life Sciences industry experience including prior experience working in a GxP, Oracle ERP.• Strong experience working with SDLCs.• Strong written and oral communication skills.• Strong interpersonal skills.• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.• Flexible during times of change.• Can conform and swiftly adjusts to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.• Manages complex issues and risks and troubleshoots them as they arise. degree• 10+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process
