Description Robert Half is currently seeking a Paralegal who is familiar with Healthcare Law located in Fort Lee, New Jersey! Our client, a large, assisted living facility, is seeking an In-House Paralegal on a long-term contract, contract-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Legal experience and will have a background in collections / healthcare law. Start Date: ASAP Duration: Temp to Perm Location: Fort Lee, New Jersey (On-Site) Pay Rate: $30 per hour Job duties include assisting the revenue management team with various collections related tasks such as estate searches, consent liens, promissory notes, demand letters, and small claims filings, obtaining updates from outside legal counsel, and filing and processing Medicaid applications. Other duties include assisting with Mergers & Acquisitions, real estate purchases, and preparing corporate documents and certifications. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing Prior experience with Case Management Software for tracking and managing legal cases Familiarity with LexisNexis for legal research and case law references Competency in using Management System for efficient workflow management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and record keeping Experience in Billing Functions, including invoice processing and tracking payments Capable of drafting and briefing legal documents and case summaries Proficiency in Calendar Management for scheduling meetings, deadlines, and court dates Experience in Claim Administration, including filing, tracking, and managing claims Familiarity with Complaint Handling procedures and best practices Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and requirements Experience in Collections, including debt recovery and negotiation Must have a certification from accredited ParaLegals course or equivalent.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
