Payment Analyst

Description We are seeking a financial analyst for a hybrid job opportunity located in the Piscataway, NJ area. As the financial analyst, your role will primarily revolve around managing financial transactions. Responsibilities: Administer processing of payments while ensuring precision and adherence to rules. Oversee and give approval to payment requests from various stakeholders Keep detailed logs of all payment transactions. Authenticate that all payment requisitions are backed up with the relevant paperwork. Facilitate seamless communication by providing updates regarding payment status and assisting in solving any documentation-related problems. Supervise customer accounts and initiate the necessary course of action when required. Comprehend and conform to regulations of compliance, taxes, and the best financial practices. Operate payment systems and financial software efficiently. Handle sensitive financial details with utmost care, ensuring confidentiality is kept. Apply proficiency in accounting tasks, financial administration, financial analysis, and Microsoft Excel.Requirements Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the field of finance and accounting. Proficiency in accounting functions is essential. Strong knowledge and understanding of finance administration. Experience in financial analysis is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Ability to work in a professional association setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. A degree in finance, accounting or a related field is preferred.
