Description Robert Half is seeking a Payroll Clerk for a contract-to-hire opportunity in East Orange, New Jersey. This job function is critical in the processing of payroll and managing employee timesheets. Responsibilities: Accurate processing of payroll on a bi-weekly basis Usage of Datis, a Human Resources Information System, for payroll processing Ensuring the payroll process is timely for both regular and off-cycle payrolls Managing payroll primarily for salaried and non-union employees Utilizing skills in Full Cycle Payroll and Payroll software to ensure efficient execution of tasks Maintaining all employee timesheets and records accurately Resolving any payroll discrepancies and responding to employee payroll inquiries Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to payroll processing Assisting in other HR related tasks when requiredRequirements Proficient in Full Cycle Payroll Ability to process bi-weekly payroll Familiarity with payroll software Experience with tracking and managing employee timesheets Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
