We are looking for a per diem Licensed PT in our office with availabilities of 2 or 3 weeknights 2/3pm-7/8pm or one full day 9-8pm. We are physical therapy owned practice. Our caseload ranges from 12-16/per day with one on one care and extensive manual treatment mostly orthopedic/musculoskeletal cases. PT responsibilities would include:

-PT evaluates and records patient’s progress, modifying treatment plans, and trying new treatments if required-

Provide effective instruction and guidance to patients regarding prescribed exercises.

-Identify patients' individual needs and demonstrate compassion, care, and empathy throughout the therapeutic process.

-Make recommendations for appropriate treatment options, courses of action, or adjustments to selected therapies to ensure patient progress, safety, and comfort.

-Stay abreast of the latest research pertaining to restoring physical function, minimizing symptom frequency, and preventing injuries.

-Maintain thorough and accurate documentation to support the delivery of high-quality physical therapy services.

-Conduct relevant data collection and ensure the acquisition of precise and reliable patient information.

-Assess and record the patient's progress on their medical record, including performance measurements.

-Adhere strictly to ethical and legal standards governing the practice of physical therapy.

-Pursue ongoing professional development to ensure continued competence and stay up to date with advancements in the field.

Skills:

-Excellent understanding and knowledge of physiological principles, best practices, and industry standards.

-Proficiency in conducting hands-on therapeutic exercises, functional training, and utilizing various physical modalities.

-Strong communication and instructional abilities, enabling effective interaction with patients.

-Competence in healthcare administration and adeptness in accurate documentation practices.

-Possession of a valid license to practice as a PT in the State of New Jersey

-Recommended basic computer skills to navigate and utilize the necessary software platforms effectively.

Education/ Experience:

Graduate of an Accredited PT School: We require candidates to have successfully completed a program from an accredited Physical Therapist school, ensuring a solid foundation of knowledge and skills in the field.

State License: Possession of a valid license issued by the State of New Jersey is a requirement for this position. This ensures compliance with the legal and regulatory standards governing the practice of Physical Therapist.
