Platform Engineer

Be part of Tradewebs Platform Engineering team responsible for the core services of the firm. Platform engineering will build and run the DevOps services such as logging, monitoring, CI/CD tools etc. used in all of Tradewebs business. In addition, they will help drive Tradewebs DevOps and Cloud efforts across all businesses. Platform Engineers main customers will be the companys SREs and developers. Tradeweb Technology jobs are fully remote. The Tradeweb Technology hub is located in our Jersey City office which can be used for team meetings and collaboration efforts. There may be days where travel to the Jersey City office is recommended for organizational off-sites.

• BSc in a technical subject: e.g. CS, Math, Physics, EE or an equivalent level of technical knowledge required.
• 2+ years experience building and running core services for a medium to large enterprise.
• Good core programming skills in either: Python, C, NodeJS or Java
• Strong understanding of SRE practices

• Kafka or similar messaging
• Distributed systems
• CI/CD concepts and platforms
• Infrastructure as code tooling (Ansible/terraform, etc)
• Experience with Metrics/APM platforms: e.g. Influx, Corvil, Datadog etc

• The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently 100,000 to 160,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
