Poll Pad Technician

Description The Poll Pad Technician is responsible for providing technical support to internal and external users by troubleshooting and resolving issues on systems when they arise. The technician will obtain an basic to intermediate level of understanding of the Poll Pad / iPad, voter workflows, and all accessories used in the poll site. RESPONSIBILITIES:· Provide leadership for poll site equipment that you are responsible to support· Respond quickly to incidents that occur to ensure smooth poll site operations· Work collaboratively with election staff and poll worker staff · Setup and maintain all equipment at poll site to ensure 100% working order· Communicate regularly with supervisors for any updates, changes or urgent issuesRequirements SKILLS:· Superior interpersonal communication: listening, speaking· Solid organizational and analytical skills including attention to detail and multitasking· Strong ability to work with in a team setting· Solid understanding of computer hardware and software systems· Good time management skillsSOFT SKILLS:· Accountable & Professional; showup on time, at the correct location, in professional attire, let people know whereabouts· Good listener, understand the full scope of the problem, not just a quick fixer· Handle pressure; if they are unable to get the application running, keep at it and don’t let them see you sweet· Trouble shooting; it’s not always apparent what the issue is and it might be a process of elimination· Know the basics about pc, ipads, macs, networking, wifi, printers, websites, software, can tinker· Look ahead for any pending issuesTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
