Title: Power BI Solution Architect

Duration: 6+ months contract-to-hire

Location: Hybrid remote/onsite in Parsippany, NJ

Salary upon conversion: 140k-160k

Help to define Power BI standards and best practices
Review work performed by Power BI vendors
Support development work with expertise
Provide technical oversight and guidance for Power BI development
Ensure sensible solution architecture and designs for data models, security design, reports, dashboards, and all Power BI artifacts
Ensure solution architecture is built for longevity and not short-term project success
Ensure platform sizing is always optimal with a vision for growth as new projects are developed
Provide expert input into the Power BI roadmap to support all approved projects
Oversee vendors on maintenance and new projects - provide all necessary guidance and management to ensure highest quality deliverables
Align and coordinate between development work and QA work
Provide guidance on standards for Change Management, Information Security, Software Dev Life Cycle, etc.
Ensure coordination between vendor and various IT support teams
Review, evaluate, and validate future Power BI resource proposed by vendors for technical adequacy
Support business partners that require Power BI guidance
Identify adequate data sources for project needs and methods for access

The approximate pay range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000.00 upon conversion.
