JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The FULL STACK ENGINEER responsible for designing, coding, debugging, and maintaining all components and layers of custom development, including databases, data integrations, APIs, and front ends. The focus of this role is to quickly deliver solutions that accelerate business initiatives and productivity, while ensuring that the solution is maintainable and built-to-last. The FULL STACK ENGINEER ensures adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate. JOB DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • End-to-end development (from screen to database) of custom solutions built on top of a low-code development platform.
  • Database design and development to support custom solutions and data analytics.
  • Utilize web technologies for developing and maintaining custom web pages and components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across all layers of custom development.
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain new and existing code.
  • Write clean, effective code using best practices.
  • Elicit complex requirements from business partners, and collaboratively iterate over in-progress development with them towards a customer-focused and maintainable solution.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED
    • 3+ years of industry experience in coding and building software end-to-end with all-around, hands-on exposure to every aspect of software and data engineering, including databases, data integrations, web APIs, and front ends, particularly on top of the Microsoft stack.
    • Low-code development (Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate)
    • Working knowledge of HTTP and REST standards
    • Front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript and web application frameworks (Angular or React)
    • Database development (DDL, DML, T-SQL)
    • Passionate about working with people to provide support on the custom solutions.
    • Assist senior engineers with unit testing custom solutions and writing automated test scripts.
    • Strong source control (Git), code quality, and refactoring mindset
    • Familiarity with infrastructure concepts (network, web servers, FTP)
    • Generalist, who can get up-to-speed quickly with new technologies through self-paced learning and online research.
    • Ability to elicit and iterate over requirements with business partners, and to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
    • Analytical thinker with excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
    • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.
    • Familiarity with agile and iterative development
    • Microsoft certifications in relevant technologies is a plus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment
