Job Description:Overall Purpose:The Principal Advanced Analytics role will architect and develop solutions using Power BI to provide business with insights and visualizations. Manage and support users on Business Intelligence applications such as Power BI and Tableau. Define data requirements, gather and mine structured and unstructured data to develop a model that servers as input for the BI tools.This position analyzes data from multiple sources including data lakes, internal/external data, data warehouses, etc. Uses predictive modeling, statistics, trend analysis, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the appropriate data to be analyzed to explain or predict behavior, solve a variety of business problems, and build business cases.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for business case development, big data analytics modeling using tools (Ex: including but not limited to: Tableau, Palantir, Power BI, Databricks, AWS Azure, Synapse, H2O Driverless AI, etc.), and business process integration. Gathers, analyzes, and interprets a wide variety of data to identify causal relationships, trigger points and ultimately make predictions. Builds predictive models using data, tests the model on results outside of the sample size, and verifies the model in the real world. Quantifies significance of data variances, applies an array of statistical methods ranging from traditional to newly-developing within the Big Data space. Uses traditional modeling techniques to build models that support decision making. Develops reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids in support of findings. Advises business partners with regard to patterns and relationships in data to recommend business direction or outcomes.Job Contribution:Expert level technical professional. Advisor on technical knowledge and ATT technologies.Education:Preferred Masters degree from an accredited University in a Quantiative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics.Experience:Typically requires 8-10 years experience.Supervisory: No.About This role:This opening on my team is for a Principal Advanced Analytics supporting Sales Integrity reporting and analytics supporting the Integrity, Compliance and Risk Management organization. We focus on Power BI dashboards for executive leadership, support staff, and front-line teams. Looking for an individual with extensive experience in SQL / data manipulation/DAX /Power- BI dashboard development.We are a data reporting team within the Integrity and Compliance Organization delivering critical datasets, dashboards and reports to the entire organization. This particular role is to support the Sales Integrity Team. These dashboards ultimately save AT&T millions of dollars annually by providing valuable insights to the field that shows anomalies and outliers.As a member of this reporting team your focus would be on developing advanced SQL queries against multiple large and complex databases to create data reports, dashboards and automated processes that support the business need.Within my org, my team supports cloud infrastructure, data engineering, reporting, User Dashboards and automation. To be successful in this role, you’ll need programming experience, SQL, data manipulation, data wrangling and dashboarding skills.Preferred Skills :

Any Scripting language experience. Preferably Python

Experience with Git Hub

Experience with Azure Synapse and Tableau
