Title: FS-CD Principal Engineer - SAP

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: Permanent position

Job DescriptionThe Consultant works with clients and team members in SAP implementations for Insurance companies. The individual will deliver results through unparalleled professionalism leveraging a superior consultative approach and strong knowledge and expertise of msg’s products and related services. Responsibilities will include, although not limited to, the following:
  • Provide expertise in SAP FS-CD to clients across financial services
  • Deliver high quality SAP software implementation services
  • Become trusted advisor to client
  • Establish productive client relationships
  • Contribute and collaborate as team member in global working environment
  • Lead small teams (including customer)
  • Communicate effectively with client and msg global management
  • Aptitude and willingness to develop technical skills
  • Responsible for achieving key business outcomes while adhering to project goals and deadlines
  • Support presales demos, proof of concepts and client demonstrations
  • Look for opportunities and engage in up-selling or cross-selling to existing customers

Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field
  • A minimum of 4 years of progressive, relevant consulting or corporate experience. Working knowledge in financial services and/or insurance industry is preferred
  • 8 years of hands on experience in SAP FS-CD required, in functional or techno-functional role
  • Experience in requirement gathering and analysis, FS-CD processes and configuration
  • Strong knowledge of SAP FS-CD/FI-GL integration
  • Experience in multiple SAP full life-cycle implementations required (as a consultant)
  • Good understanding of Testing in SAP implementations

  • Technical programming skills (ABAP) not required but is a plus
