Principal, Technology Product Manager, (Money Movement, Alerts and Workflow) to join our Technology Product Management area. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ or Lake Mary, FL. This will be a flex/remote position.

In this role, you-ll make an impact in the following ways: The Technology Product Management (TPM) team at BNY Mellon | Pershing is responsible for delivering innovative digital experiences to our clients. Our product vision and strategy are driven by voice of the client, business goals and objectives, and competitive intelligence. This dynamic team is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for our products to design and build solutions that transform user experiences for financial services professionals and their clients. As a Product Manager on the Technology Product Management Team, you will have the responsibility of driving the delivery of strategic priorities and promoting the adoption of our solutions across the wide range of Pershing clients globally related to our digital adoption tools. Product Managers work closely with colleagues in a variety of roles such as Product Owners, Development Engineers, Business Owners, Project Managers, Marketing and Communications, among others. Product Managers serve as client advocates internally; they articulate the product positioning, benefits, and target audience, and promote their products both internally and externally, when appropriate

To be successful in this role, we-re seeking the following: Are you passionate about:
  • Championing a suite of products for Business Process Management, Alerts/Notifications and Asset Movements
  • Driving performance improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Latest payment technology and launching new digital products
  • Soliciting and providing input for innovation and planning
  • Ideating, experimenting, and analyzing new approaches for delivering information and support to users across a complex platform so as to measurably improve the client experience
  • Applying your expertise in organizing information about a variety of technology and business products/solutions so as to help internal and external clients improve the way they do business
  • Rolling up your sleeves to solve problems, manage the day-to-day support of a client-facing product, and build award-winning, competitive products and services
  • Collaborating with teammates and teams firmwide, coordinating with business partners, and reviewing client feedback to develop innovative solutions
  • Immersing yourself in a broad array of Fintech solutions to become a key player on a talented, Agile team of engineers, product managers, and business leaders who are developing the next generation of digital financial services

You have or are:
  • A strong understanding of Agile product development, adoption and learning strategies, and creating go-to-market campaigns
  • A self-motivated Subject Matter Expert with a very practical, tactical approach which enables you to earn the trust of and collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders
  • A collegial approach and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced team that is part of a much larger, matrixed organization
  • The ability - in a sometimes ambiguous and always fast-moving environment - to multi-task so as to harmonize competing requirements and coordinate diverse resources and synthesize them to effectively develop and deliver a product
  • The drive to deliver game-changing technology solutions to our clients with efficiency and quality

In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Driving strategy, creating the product roadmap, developing use cases, managing the integration of the solution into multiple channels, leading internal and external communication plans, product marketing, messaging content, campaigns and product adoption efforts
  • Participating, prioritizing and contributing to SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) pods; writing JIRA epics/stories, and sharing the vision to prioritize and drive the creation and the delivery of digital adoption-related initiatives
  • Fostering the relevant vendor relationships
  • Developing and building relationships with internal SMEs, business and technology partners, and understanding clients- needs
  • Leading and participating in key elements of product delivery, including budgeting and strategy decisions
  • Being a champion of digital adoption platforms, promoting new features to internal and external clients, defining success metrics, and accelerating adoption while simultaneously enhancing our clients- holistic experience at BNY Mellon-s Pershing

You have:
  • Technology product experience, preferably in the financial industry
  • Experience successfully leading complex products, which require engagement from diverse teams with their own set of priorities, to positive outcomes
  • A passion for improving the financial lives of everyday people through the delivery of elegant and powerful digital tools they will want to use

Requirements:
  • Bachelor-s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 10 years- experience in technology and digital products
  • Broker-dealer, RIA, and/or financial services experience
  • Experience with workflow management, process flow development and money/security movements is a plus
  • Experience in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) a plus
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent decision making, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Experience in business-to-business technology and third-party integrations is a plus
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a dynamically changing environment is preferred

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $108,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
