Job Title: Process Engineer Location: Summit, NJ Type: Contract 1 year contract with the possibility of extendingHybrid Overview Our Client's Cell Therapy business is in an exciting phase of commercialization of its first CAR-T products. Commercialization drives new scope, scale, and complexity across the network, and drives the need to work together in new ways. This job is part of an organization that has been established to manage this rapidly evolving environment. At the intersection of people, process, and systems are the Global Business Process and the Business Process Lead (BPL). The Process Engineer will report to the BPL and will interact with BPO’s, BPL’s, and functional areas to foster cross-site collaboration and to establish consistency across the network. Specifically, the Process Engineer will immerse themselves with the global sites to understand and document standard processes and identify opportunities for improvement. The goal is to build standardization across the network to benefit the patients we serve, and to provide standardized network processes to enable new manufacturing sites onboarding into the network. There will be opportunities to take ownership to develop and deliver solutions that address process gaps. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how our Clients Cell Therapy manufacturing network operates and be part of a team influencing the overall future of the Cell Therapy Responsibilities

Identify and analyze business needs, conduct requirements gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending to develop appropriate process changes.

Develop gap analysis with business owners and identify process & system improvement opportunities and initiatives.

Work independently to own the creation and management of network process maps.

Partner with business delivery teams and system implementation teams in designing ERP systems functionality to best support business requirements / process needs

Collaborates with subject matter experts from across the business to design, establish and maintain foundational data pipelines. Works with other functions to develop business facing reports and dashboards.

Create impact assessments and analyze the ROI for system enhancements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain, or computer science or engineering.

Advanced business process analysis knowledge.

Strong problem solving with leadership capabilities and business acumen.

4-7 years of operations work experience required, preferably in Supply Chain operations of biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, or other GXP manufacturing environments

Proven record in leading or contributing to projects or programs in support of GxP operations.

This position requires a self-starter, who can hit the ground running with minimal guidance/direction, and an excellent communicator, who can initiate conversation and solicit participation. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Skilled at presenting complex topics to senior leaders.
