related experience requiredWeekend overtime likelyWhat a typical day may look like:Primary Purpose:Plans, organizes and coordinates production schedules in a manner that meets customer expectations and within accepted lead time intervals. Efficiently utilizes all production resources to improve yields and reduce down time due to cleaning/changeovers.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

Review daily MRP Material Activity Report and develop a Master Production Schedule that satisfies customer service expectations while reducing repeat productions and unnecessary cleanings.

Maintains all system dates relative to production.

Reviews material availability and creates, releases and schedules production based on customer needs and material availability.

Optimizes inventory by making the most efficient use of partial lots (raw materials and finished goods) and/or not yet expired lots. Interacts’ with Purchasing when inbound raw material delays’ occur.

Keeps Customer Service informed of any changes to the schedule.

Interacts with QC regarding production problems that result in rejections or conditional material.

Works with QC to identify blend back rate and then coordinates the utilization of distressed finished goods and raw materials within QC guidelines.

Periodically review inventory status and master data in ERP system.

Make recommendations related to raw material data (lead times/reorder points) in accordance with Kerry’s goals for inventory investment levels.

What are the Minimum Qualifications?Must be proficient in automated systems and PC’s.

Must have a minimum of 3-5 years planning or related business experience.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must possess analytical, organizational, and problem solving aptitudes. 5. Must demonstrate ability to multi-task.

Must have Bachelors degree in business or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

What are the Physical Requirements?Must be able to move throughout production and the labs to expedite orders.

Must be able to manipulate a computer keyboard and telephone handset.

Must be able to speak audibly and intelligibly.

Must be able to sit for long periods of time
