What You'll Get to Do:

CACI is searching for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to serve as the Program Manager (PM) for free- space laser communications program and/or optical sensing programs which includes the product development, manufacture, delivery, and fielding and sustainment of associated technologies. The PM is the primary point of contact between CACI and the customer, interacting with the client on a regular basis. The PM is responsible for establishing goals and plans that meet program objectives as specified in the Government's contract and within the guidelines of Corporate Policies. The PM utilizes domain and expert technical knowledge to oversee large scale production, integration, test and delivery of integrated photonic electronic systems. The PM is responsible for financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the program and will manage, direct, and allocate resources necessary for ensuring a successful program. The PM coordinates with corporate executives to make sure that the program provides on-time delivery of top-quality products and services according to the established Master Program Schedule. This position will provide high corporate visibility and provide opportunities for upward career growth.

More About This Role:

Contract Management
  • Perform as the sole CACI single point of contact responsible for program execution meeting all CACI and program commitments to the Prime contractor and US Government according to the specified contract and CACI corporate policy.
  • Lead Program Office planning of CACI and Sub-contractor resources, scheduling, milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensure program deliverables are met and in conformance with program schedules and cost baselines.
Organizational Management
  • Manage workforce within the Florham Park NJ location.
  • Directly supervise other task leads managers in an Integrated Product Team like organizational structure who likewise oversee their portion of the program to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks.
  • Coordinate the actions of CACI Corporate Functional Staff in support of achieving program objectives.
Product Lifecycle Management
  • Ensure translation of US Government customer requirements into an end product using sound system engineering and hardware software development processes.
  • Implement quality control and configuration management on complex products and systems.
  • Work with production team to develop and produce military hardware.
  • Track the program Integrated Master Schedule to ensure timely completion of product lifecycle and contractual deliverables.
  • Validate that logistics and sustainment plans meet contractual obligations and customer end user expectations.
  • Oversee data management including Contract Data Requirements Lists, Agreement Data Requirements Lists and the assertion of corporate data rights.
  • Execute Risk Management and Configuration Control Board plans to ensure mitigation of potential and realized risks to the cost, schedule, performance of the contract.
Supply Chain and Subcontractor Management
  • Oversee complex teams of Vendors, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and Sub-contractors.
  • Manage execution of warranty, end of life/end of service life, diminishing parts to ensure long term product viability.
  • Perform contractor team and supplier assessment and evaluations, subcontractor and vendor management.
Corporate Governance Management
  • Conduct program health checks by participating in internal CACI Program Management Reviews.
  • Participate in CACI Long Range Business Planning to ensure CACI business and financial commitments are accurate and achieved.
  • Develop and execute program growth strategies
  • Communicate corporate governance to employees and track employee compliance.
  • Apply particular attention to Personnel Policy, ethics, and compliance with downward directed company management actions.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
  • BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Optical, or similar engineering required.
  • 10 years work experience on defense or aerospace industry contracts
  • 8+ years experience on highly technical and complex products and solutions in an engineering organization to include Full Product Lifecycle management.
  • PMP certification

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
  • Active TS is highly desired.
  • Experience in successfully taking a product through the product development to manufacture process is highly desired.
  • Experience on Firm Fixed Price production programs over $70M in contract value is highly desired.
  • Optical communications equipment lifecycle development is highly desired.
  • Experience in building and maintaining products that must pass AS9100 is desired
  • Master's degree is preferred
