Job Description:

Responsibilities include creating a clear, comprehensive approach to guide setup, execution and control of all projects within the program, including ensuring projects are managing risk, adherence to policy and delivering on time, on budget and on benefit based on tangible business outcomes. Ensures clearly defined responsibilities and accountabilities for key program /project roles. Represents the health and status of the program and its component projects to senior leadership within the organization through developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan. Accountable to ensure all applicable Enterprise standards, Enterprise procedures and any front-line-unit control procedures are followed for the program and its component projects. Communicates, influences and negotiates both vertically and horizontally to obtain or leverage necessary resources. Ability to analyze presentstate, developing alternative future-state approaches and facilitating implementation. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines. Business centric mindset with ability to utilize sound business judgment and tailor approach to drive optimal business outcomes. May or may not manage employees.

Skills:
  • Experience delivering large projects/programs that may have cross-functional or inter-departmental implications
  • Experience in managing large transformational datadriven projects
  • Experience driving multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal) and navigate at all levels in the organization with the detail appropriate to the forum and audience
  • Ability to effectively navigate a highly matrixed organization
  • Highly organized with critical thinking abilities at both the strategic and tactical levels
  • Experience with regulatory driven efforts
  • Understanding of Lean-Agile frameworks in general, but an especially deep grasp of the Scaled Agile Framework and tools (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Excellent facilitation / presentation skills, experience with large groups and senior leadership
  • Ability to connect business outcomes with operational and technological considerations
  • Strong detail orientation and a willingness to synthesize diverse ideas into tangible action plans
  • Insight to identify gaps and execution risks and escalate as appropriate
  • Ability to understand, interpret and track meaningful metrics
  • Typically has 5+ years of project management experience and practice expertise. May also serve as a practice subject-matter expert, consultant or coach.
  • Executive reporting skills
  • Create both visually and verbally engaging informative materials for collaborating departmental leadership, business partners, executives and stakeholders

Desired Skills:
  • Six sigma certification and/or operational excellence experience
  • Experience with Bank of America key tools - PPRT, PCM, Changescape, Horizon
  • Experience migrating processes - transferring to new teams or taking processes on/offshore
