Why you'll love this job: As a member of the Risk PMO Team, the selected candidate plays a key role in providing efficient and effective support to the Financial Risk Management department by managing delivery of technology portfolio in alignment with business objectives and regulatory commitments. As a Program Manager, you are responsible for leading the execution and delivery of technology initiatives across Risk Technology Portfolio. As a senior member of the PMO, this role requires the ability to lead, coach, and mentor.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Initiating /project planning and scope prioritization, successfully plan and track multiple projects encompassing Business and IT partners
  • Follow the DTCC processes and methodologies for delivering initiatives/projects and ensure adherence to these methodologies, as well as Risk PMO governance framework, from project collaborators
  • Track project progress, including issues and risks, all program cost, schedules, and performance against established program landmarks; reporting the status to management partners on a regular basis
  • Understand and translate cross-functional dependencies into practical plans. Track and report all interdependencies between multiple initiatives and projects
  • Ensure delivered products meet defined business requirements and are of high quality
  • Proactively identify and handle risks. Plan for an effective risk mitigation
  • Responsible for timely resolution of conflicts and issues. Negotiate the scope and approach, and act as liaison between appropriate collaborators
  • Support the business planning process
  • Support the Agile / Scrum process
  • Optimally use the tools required for leading programs and projects at DTCC
  • Effectively align project timelines, strategy, and objectives to support the program.
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and supervising controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Strong program / project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed to gain cooperation from various stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member with minimal supervision leading multiple sophisticated projects at a time and manage workload with shifting priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrable ability to work on large cross-functional teams. Articulate information clearly and present information effectively and expertly when working with others.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of PowerBI a plus

Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.
